Culture Source grant award
I’m happy to be the recipient of a “Creators of Culture” grant from Culture Source to realize a workshop series in Detroit. With collaborators Mothlight Microcinema, I will be teaching a series of no-cost workshops on DIY 16mm filmmaking, as part of the fall programming with Detroit Narrative Agency. We want to build a celluloid film presence in Detroit among communities not well represented in media, using methods that bypass barriers and provide training that participants could reasonably continue to practice on their own.
